# Maintenance

Ares Alpha electronic props are built to be used in rugged environments as airsoft and paintball games. All of them are water resistant, so can be used in any weather conditions.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Pay special attentions to the ATB Pro and Mini props: They are water proof as long as the cover it's closed!

We took precautions to seal the display and the buttons, but still if it's a raining day, we strongly advise to close the top cover.
{% endhint %}

Be sure to fully charge the batteries before you start the game.

Clean the props after the games, especially if was used on a muddy or sandy terrain. If you are using the props for paintball, make sure to clean the paint after each game!

If you want to replace the built-in batteries, check the [battery management](/ares-alpha-props-manual-en/battery-management.md) section.
